Job Description

Seeking a Senior Estimator to join their high-performing Pre-Construction team in a critical individual contributor capacity. In this role, you will take full ownership of project budgets that vary in scale from $1M specialized fit-outs to $60M major capital programs.

You won’t just be providing numbers; you will be delivering the competitive strategies that drive the firm’s largest corporate awards. We are looking for an expert who is equally comfortable in the world of high-velocity General Contracting and open-book Construction Management.

Full-Spectrum Project Ownership: Lead the end-to-end estimating process for a diverse portfolio, including luxury corporate interiors, complex multi-floor renovations, and full-scale building repositioning.
Occupied Space Strategy: Master the logistics of budgeting for upgrades within active, sensitive environments where phasing and scheduling are as critical as the line items.
Repeat Client Delivery: Act as a technical lead for the firm’s most loyal accounts, ensuring that every budget—whether for a global bank or a luxury flagship—meets their exacting standards for quality and transparency.

What we're looking for

NYC Market Expertise: 7+ years of Estimating experience with a NYC-based General Contractor, specifically focused on commercial interior renovations and asset modernization.
Delivery Method Versatility: A deep understanding of both GC (Lump Sum) and CM (Guaranteed Maximum Price) delivery methods.
Technical Breadth: Proven experience in building repositioning, including lobby renewals, core-and-shell upgrades, and high-end amenity spaces.
Technology Proficiency: Expert command of Timberline or a similar platform. Proficiency in On-Screen Takeoff (OST), Microsoft Excel and Bluebeam is required to manage high-volume bidding cycles.
