Job Description

The Senior Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate, timely, and competitive cost estimates for a variety of commercial construction projects.

  • Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of commercial construction projects.
  • Take ownership of the bid and proposal process, from initial conceptual phase  to final submission.
  • Serve a critical role in pre-construction and business development efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and owners to develop cost-effective solutions.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial construction estimating, with a strong preference for experience on Long Island.
  • Project Track Record: Proven success in bidding and securing projects up to $50M.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and local building codes.
  • Software Proficiency: Expertise with modern estimating software (e.g., Procore, Build Connected) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
